Grafenwöhr Elementary Celebrates the Month of the Military Child with Color Run
The sun was shining and excitement was buzzing on the afternoon of April 30, 2025, when Grafenwöhr Elementary School's Parent Teacher Association sponsored its first Color Run! The event started with a bang—each grade started their run with a confetti pop and a dash through a colorful balloon arch. While they jogged or walked around the school, volunteers threw colorful powder everywhere, making it look like a rainbow explosion!
Parents joined in the fun too, running alongside their kids and making it a great family event. Almost everyone wore white t-shirts that got covered in bright colors with every lap they ran. By the end of the third lap, everyone seemed to turn into walking rainbows!
As the day came to an end, everyone was smiling and talking about how great the day was. The first-ever Color Run was a huge success, and it looks like it might just become a fun tradition at Grafenwöhr Elementary!
